Olympic Files in Marathon – London 2012 - Who's Who in the Olympic Marathon

For several months we are knowing athletes who run in the Olympic marathon in London, both female and male category, 5 andAugust 12 respectively.

It is my intention, within my means, write about them, references and information, from each marathon runner before the Olympics.

This will be the central post. I will update with the names of athletes who are selected by their national federations and, when I'll publish the post with the information of each of them, will link from here.

Of course, This text will be open to you, through your comments, here or in each personal profile, to add information, news or comments.

I hope you enjoy it, linked it and will be a good reference who love this sport and the Olympic marathon ;-)

http://www.rfea.es/web/noticias/desarrollo.asp?codigo=4991

Marathon Route for the London 2012 Olympic Games

We have the date and the marathon route for the London Olympics in 2012

Just under a year and a half remaining before the appointment but they get to know the details of the forthcoming Olympic Games in London in 2012.

Last week it published the official guide, prior to March at which to begin the advance sale of tickets and passes for the Olympic Games.

In the case of athletics competition days ranging from 5 to August 12, 2012 being the marathon trial that opens and closes the same as the women's race will be held on Sunday 5 August and the men's event next Sunday 12 August (booking to go out and holidays,-D).

Below you will leave the link to the full program of competitions in all sports for London 2012

http://media.ticketmaster.com/en-gb/img/sys/tournament/london2012/oly-complete.pdf

The LOC announced that the marathon would not leave or arrive at the Olympic Stadium. Finally the change with the departure and arrival of the Olympic epic proof will be next to Buckingham Palace.

I link below the plane of the marathon circuit in 2012. The route, like in the last championships to promote the enjoyment of spectators and the question of logistics and security, will star with a small opening lap round the park next to Buckingham Palace and then do three laps over 12km ( 8 miles) that will take us through the hub and commercial center of London City.
